People can't afford groceries, gas, housing or healthcare. American troops are fighting and dying in Trump's war with Iran. Families are struggling. And Trump is playing some deranged WAR OF THE ROSES with CANADA over tariffs - one of our closest allies and trading partners.

And THIS is what we're doing? RENAMING LAKE ONTARIO?

Trump declares an international lake shared with another sovereign country "Lake America" - and GOOGLE FUCKING MAPS obediently changes it for American users. Canada still sees Lake Ontario.

Much of the rest of the world gets both names. Americans get Trump's alternate reality.

WHY THE FUCK IS @googlemaps PARTICIPATING IN THIS?

Trump cannot rename Canada's part of Lake Ontario. He cannot order Canada to call it Lake America. Yet one of the most powerful information companies on Earth is helping turn one man's political stunt into the "geography" Americans see. 

And then the media turns the spectacle into headline news while PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY SUFFERING.

We have an affordability crisis. A healthcare crisis. Americans are being sent into harm's way. And the President is spending his time renaming lakes to piss off Canada while Google changes the map and the press feeds the spectacle.

STOP TREATING PROPAGANDA AS GEOGRAPHY.

STOP TREATING MADNESS AS NORMAL POLITICS.

We have REAL fucking problems.
